I started out using Arnold’s bodybuilding book – no way his workouts work for a normal human (and he was probably “enhanced” at the point anyways). You are right that one size no way fits all!

I worked out and ate with two buddies with fast metabolisms for a couple of years and got big AND fat while they just grew muscle. Now I’m slowly learning what works best for me, and it is not one size fits all!

One of them has made amazing progress on his system and comments on how it’s customized for each body type.

What prompted me to write this comment though, was I looked at my local grocery store (and I’m in no big city, it’s closer to the sticks here) and they have ostrich and ground buffalo. Going to make buffalo burgers today, and maybe try the ostrich in a stir fry

Hey, I can even get goat (awesome awesome low fat high protein and DELICIOUS), alligator (not so low fat but tasty), and elk both at the market and from an elk farm about 2 miles away.

A lot of game is low fat and high protein and I love it!

I can get some of these in my local market regularly (bison, elk) and sometimes the others too.

A good way to add high protein and low fat variety to meals – especially for meat eaters like me
