I wasn’t so sure, but that’s all I had (my girlfriend must have bought it, although she doesn’t remember). Probably makes little difference calorie wise as it’s just a marinade, still delicious!

A winner! Either I do this as an appetizer when friends are over, or often a main course for myself, usually served with or on top of a simple salad. This recipe is slightly more involved than some of your others, but only a little, and still simple. And very worth it!
BTW, my Thai girlfriend loves it too.

I have a niece with a serious peanut allergy too and have made it without the peanut butter – it’s still good but quite different.

I think next time I may try no peanut butter in the marinade, but have the “normal” peanut butter full marinade on the side as a dip.

If you try it, lemme know what you think!

A friend has a peanut allergy – ever try making these without the peanut butter in them?
